Louisiana Chicken Fry -Fried Chicken

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs

  • 1/2 cup buttermilk

  • 1 1/2 Cup (250g) Louisiana Chicken Fry Batter Mix

  • 1KG chicken tenders

  • 1 (150ml) bottle of Louisiana style Red Pepper Hot Sauce

  • 1/2 cup blue cheese, crumbled

  • 1/2 cup sour cream

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise

  • 2 tsp. lemon juice

  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 220° C.

  • Whisk together eggs and buttermilk in a shallow bowl and pour the Louisiana Chicken Fry Batter Mix into an additional shallow bowl.

  • Line a baking tray with foil and spray a wire rack with cooking spray. Submerge the chicken in the buttermilk mixture and then toss to coat in the dry Chicken flour Mix.

  • Place the chicken onto the cooking rack and bake for about 30 minutes, or until chicken is golden brown and cooked through.

  • Meanwhile, make dipping sauce: Stir together blue cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, and lemon juice in a small bowl. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

  • Brush crispy chicken tenders with Hot Sauce & Serve with dipping sauce.
