Louisiana Chicken Fry -Fried Chicken
Ingredients
2 eggs
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 1/2 Cup (250g) Louisiana Chicken Fry Batter Mix
1KG chicken tenders
1 (150ml) bottle of Louisiana style Red Pepper Hot Sauce
1/2 cup blue cheese, crumbled
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 tsp. lemon juice
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 220° C.
Whisk together eggs and buttermilk in a shallow bowl and pour the Louisiana Chicken Fry Batter Mix into an additional shallow bowl.
Line a baking tray with foil and spray a wire rack with cooking spray. Submerge the chicken in the buttermilk mixture and then toss to coat in the dry Chicken flour Mix.
Place the chicken onto the cooking rack and bake for about 30 minutes, or until chicken is golden brown and cooked through.
Meanwhile, make dipping sauce: Stir together blue cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, and lemon juice in a small bowl. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Brush crispy chicken tenders with Hot Sauce & Serve with dipping sauce.
