GAME DAY WINGS
The Cajun answer to Buffalo wings has arrived! A little Louisiana flair goes a long way in this recipe. Guaranteed to please your game day crew!
Ingredients
Chicken Wings
1/2 Cup Louisiana Chicken Fry Batter Mix (for batter)
1/2 Cup Louisiana Chicken Fry Batter Mix (for dry mix coating)
1/2 Cup water
2KG of chicken wings
Buffalo Wings Sauce
100g butter
1 bottle (150ml) Louisiana Style Red Pepper Hot Sauce
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
Preparation
Pour 1/2 Cup Chicken Fry flour into a shallow bowl and add the water - mix into a slurry. Add Chicken wings to the slurry and coat.
In a second bowl; add 1/2 Cup dry chicken fry flour and coat the now battered Chicken Wings in further (dry) Chicken Fry flour.
Heat oil in a deep pot to 180˚ C and Fry wings for 8 minutes until golden Brown. Drain and place fried wings in a large metal bowl.
In a pot, melt butter. Add hot sauce and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well. Pour sauce over the fried wings and toss until coated. Serve hot. ENJOY!
